Andy Murray's US Open encounter against Alex Bogomolov Jr gets underway following a rain delay in New York.

Andy Murray's opening match of the US Open against Alex Bogomolov Jr has just got underway.

The Brit was due to appear on the Arthur Ashe Court at around 6pm this evening.

However, severe rain showers resulted in all play being suspended for just under two hours.
