Novak Djokovic has cruised into the Shanghai Masters quarter-finals with a 6-3 6-3 win over Fabio Fognini.
Djokovic started the match by dominating on his own serve and got a break as early as the fourth game with his first opportunity.
After that it went with serve in the opening set and it was plain sailing for the Serb, who took it 6-3.
In the second set Djokovic had to save a break point in his opening game before battling to a break of his own in the sixth.
He saw out the remainder of the game to reach the quarter-finals.
