Andy Murray will continue his Rogers Cup clash with Tommy Robredo after rain interrupted their match in Montreal.
The Brit, who could replace Roger Federer as world number two this week, was on court for 40 minutes before the rain arrived to bring the night session to a premature end.
Murray is currently level at 4-4 with Robredo and the two players are likely to be asked to resume their match in Wednesday's afternoon session as poor weather continues to be a problem for the tournament.
Top seed Novak Djokovic had continued his bid earlier in the day with a straight-sets win over Thomaz Bellucci.
