Jerzy Janowicz is in disbelief after becoming the first qualifier for almost a decade to reach a Masters final.
The world number 69 will play David Ferrer for the Paris Masters title following his straight-sets win over Gilles Simon in the last four.
"For me this is still, like, I cannot believe this actually. How is this possible?," Reuters quotes the Pole as saying.
"I came here just to play qualifications and suddenly after few days I'm in the final. I don't know how I did this but tomorrow the final is waiting for me. Wow."
Janowicz, who has defeated Andy Murray, Marin Cilic and Janko Tipsarevic en route to the final, also admitted that he cried "like a big baby" after his defeat of Simon.
He added: "I need still some time to relax a little bit, to think about this match, to accept this situation.
"Right now I'm in the final. After this match point, I just fell down and I was crying almost like a baby. Big baby."
Janowicz takes on Ferrer in the French capital tomorrow.
