Andy Murray believes that David Ferrer will provide a "tough" test when the pair meet in Sunday's Miami Masters final.

Andy Murray has predicted a "tough" encounter with David Ferrer when the pair meet in the final of the Miami Masters on Sunday.

Murray, seeded second, will enter the match at Key Biscayne having won six of his previous 11 matches against the Spanish third seed.

"It will be a tough match," Murray told Sky Sports News. "He's had a great week, he's in great shape. He's always tough to play against.

"Ferrer has a great attitude on the court. He fights for every single point. He's not struggling to play well in the big events - that's why he's there, and it'll be a very tough match on Sunday."

Murray will climb above Roger Federer and into second place in the ATP rankings if he defeats Ferrer.
