Dan Evans moves into top 100 after victory in Taipei

British number four Dan Evans moves into the top 100 of the ATP world rankings for the first time in his career after winning a Challenger event in Taipei.

Great Britain will have four men inside the world's top 100 when the ATP rankings are updated on Monday after Dan Evans won the Taipei Challenger event.

Evans had slumped to below 750 in the standings this time last year but a sustained run of form has resulted in the Birmingham-based hitter breaking new ground.

The 25-year-old recovered from a set down to beat Konstantin Kravchuk 3-6 6-4 6-4 to win his second Challenger crown of the season after previously emerging victorious in Canada in March.

The triumph has vindicated Evans's decision to miss the clay-court season in order to try to claim ranking points at second-tier events in Asia.

Andy Murray, Aljaz Bedene and Kyle Edmund are the other three British players to sit inside the world's top 100.
