Novak Djokovic has revealed that he has been cleared fit to play at next month's French Open.
The world number two had been rated as a doubt for the Grand Slam because of a wrist complaint.
However, having had the injury assessed, the Serbian has conceded that the problem is not as bad as he had first feared.
"Fortunately, the situation with the injury is better than it first seemed. Doctors assured me that I will be ready for Madrid, then Rome and Roland Garros, just as it has been planned," he told the ATP's official website.
"However, I need to continue with the recovery process and full medical treatments. It means I will have to take a short break in order to recover as soon as possible."
Djokovic has never won the title at Roland Garros.
