World number one Caroline Wozniacki looks to take the positives from her exit at the Australian Open.

World number one Caroline Wozniacki has set herself the target of improving as a player following her exit from the Australian Open earlier today.

The Dane was beaten in straight sets by defending champion Kim Clijsters and as a result is still waiting to secure her first Grand Slam title.

However, the 21-year-old has taken the positives from her defeat.

"Well, you learn every time," she told reporters. "Obviously it's never fun to lose, but you learn more from your losses than you do from your wins.

"You know, I will just go back and practice and try to come back even better."

Wozniacki's previous best at the Australian Open was a semi-final place last year.
