Former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic has said that Andy Murray should not have sacked coach Ivan Lendl.
Murray and Lendl ended their relationship in March last year, but the Briton has struggled to recapture his form under new coach Amelie Mauresmo.
Ivanisevic told BBC Sport that getting rid of Lendl was the worst thing that the 2013 Wimbledon champion could have done.
He said: "Last year was up and down for him, he changed coaches. For me, that's maybe his biggest mistake, letting Ivan go. Because it was a perfect match. They did everything together.
"They won two Grand Slams, he played the best tennis under Ivan, they were similar tennis players."
Murray plays Joao Sousa in the Australian Open third round tomorrow.
