Britain's Jade Jones misses out on first ever Taekwondo Grand Prix gold

Great Britain's Jade Jones fails to clinch Taekwondo Grand Prix gold in Manchester following defeat to Eva Calvo Gomez in the -57kg final.

Great Britain's Jade Jones has failed to scoop her first ever Taekwondo Grand Prix gold medal following defeat to Spain's Eva Calvo Gomez in Manchester.

The 21-year-old came close to glory after tying the -57kg final 4-4, but eventually lost to the world number one, who has beaten Jones three times.

"It's frustrating," Jones told BBC Sport. "I've made improvements but I need to go back to the drawing board."

Both Jones and Britain's Aaron Cook took home silver medals.
