Alice Tai claims two bronze medals at IPC World Championships

Great Britain's Alice Tai wins two bronze medals at the IPC World Championships in Glasgow.

Alice Tai has claimed two bronze medals at the IPC World Championships which are being held in Glasgow.

The 16-year-old came home in third spot in the S10 100m backstroke before playing her part in the 4x100m freestyle relay alongside Ellie Simmonds, Claire Cashmore and Tully Kearney.

Tai is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Being part of a team you feel the responsibility to perform well. I just dived in and went for it."

Tai's achievement in the S10 100m backstroke represented her first appearance in the final of a World Championship event.
