Olympic gold medallist Chad le Clos is confident that he can win more gold medals at the World Championships in Kazan, Russia this August.

The South African already has two long-course golds in his collection, and he will be aiming to defend his 100m and 200m butterfly titles in five months' time.

"My preparations are good and I feel strong," The Gulf Today quotes Le Clos as saying. "I hope I can do my country proud, do my people proud. I think I can win more gold medals."

Le Clos, who won seven medals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last year, was speaking at the Abu Dhabi swimming festival at the weekend.
