Welsh swimmer David Davies has retired from swimming professionally following a career that included two Olympic medals.
The 27-year-old, who competed at the London 2012 Games in the 1500m event but failed to reach the final, was unable to grab a place in the open water event in the qualifiers.
Davies has decided to call time on his career due to chronic fatigue, which he was diagnosed with a year before the summer's Games.
The Welshman snatched bronze in the 1500m in Athens and four years later grabbed silver in the open water event in Beijing.
