England duo Adrian Grant and Nick Matthew settle for silver in squash doubles

England's Adrian Grant and Nick Matthew lose out in the gold-medal match at the Commonwealth Games in the men's squash doubles, picking up the silver.

England's Adrian Grant and Nick Matthew have claimed the silver medal in the men's squash doubles following their defeat to Australia in the gold-medal match at the Commonwealth Games.

The pair lost to the team of David Palmer and Cameron Pilley in three sets at the Scotstoun Campus.

Team England did take the lead in the match as they claimed the first game 11-10, but the Australians stormed back in the second, winning 11-7 to set up a decider.

The third set was a tight contest but Palmer and Pilley produced the quality when needed in the crucial points to clinch the gold medal with an 11-9 victory.
