Adrian Grant rues lack of luck in squash final loss

Team England's Adrian Grant feels that he and Nick Matthew were unlucky in their men's squash doubles loss at the Commonwealth Games.

Team England squash player Adrian Grant feels that he and Nick Matthew didn't get the breaks in their gold-medal match defeat to Australia at the Commonwealth Games.

Grant and Matthew lost in three sets to David Palmer and Cameron Pilley in the final of the men's doubles at the Scotstoun Campus.

Grant told reporters: "It went to the wire, at that stage it just takes one small shot, one shot off the frame and that is the game gone.

"Credit where it is due to the Australians, they fought hard and so did we and that was what the crowd was here to see."

England won nine squash medals at the Games in Glasgow.
