Great Britain's Amber Hill moves into women's skeet semi-finals

Young Great Britain shooter Amber Hill gains progression into the semi-finals of the women's skeet shooting event at the European Games in Baku.

Great Britain's Amber Hill ensured her progression into the semi-finals of the women's skeet shooting event at the European Games after finishing second in qualification this morning.

Hill secured a spot in the six-competitor semi after notching a score of 73 to qualify, coming second only to Italy's Diana Bacosi who shot a world-record 75 to finish in first place.

The 17-year-old Hill collected impressive scores of 24, 24 and 25, and will now take part in the semi-final event on Saturday afternoon.

Great Britain currently hold ninth spot in the medals table, which is led by the Russian Federation.
