One-two for India in 50m pistol final

India secure gold and silver in the 50m pistol competition in the Commonwealth Games.

India have secured gold and silver in the 50m pistol final at the Commonwealth Games this afternoon.

Jitu Rai, who is a serving soldier, narrowly beat Gurpal Singh to the title, while Australia's Daniel Repacholi, who won the 10m air pistol competition earlier this games, completed the podium.

The win is India's fourth at the shooting range in these games.

Kristian Callaghan of England finished fifth.
