Germany's Henri Junghaenel wins 50m rifle prone gold

Germany's Henri Junghaenel wins the 50m rifle prone gold medal at the European Games in Baku.

German shooter Henri Junghaenel has won the 50m rifle prone gold.

He scored 207.3 points to claim victory, just 1.2 points ahead of Italy's Marco de Nicolo. Belarus's Sergei Martynov claimed bronze with a score of 186.3.

Junghaenel finished second in the qualifying round to Martynov, but improved in the final to overtake his opponent.

Great Britain's Jonathan Hammond was knocked out of the competition in the qualifying round.
