Irish lightweight boxer Sean McComb has said that he will have failed if he does not win gold at the European Games in Baku.
McComb defeated Belarus's Tymur Beliak on a unanimous points decision this morning, and will fight against Italian Donato Cosenza on Saturday.
"I want to win a gold medal. I'll be disappointed with anything else, that's all I'm focused on," McComb told reporters.
"It's a very tough competition, all the best boxers in Europe are here, including myself."
Team GB's Luke McCormack could fight McComb in the semi-final, after he defeated Greece's Panagiotis Matsagkos earlier today.
