Colin Gregor "feeling good" going into rugby sevens decider

Scotland sevens captain Colin Gregor is optimistic about his side's chances of beating Canada in their Group A decider at the Commonwealth Games this evening.

Scotland sevens captain Colin Gregor has said that his side are "feeling good" ahead of their Group A decider against Canada at the Commonwealth Games this evening.

The hosts will battle it out with the Canadians for a place in the medal round tomorrow after both teams lost to New Zealand and comfortably beat Barbados.

Scotland in particular needed to pick themselves up having fallen four points short of becoming the first team to beat the All Blacks in the Commonwealth Games earlier, but Gregor was pleased with how they responded against Barbados.

"We're feeling good. Obviously that is the bounce back we wanted from the first game, so we'll get our recovery done now and hopefully the home crowd will get behind us and give us a cheer for the last game," he told Sports Mole.

Gregor kicked 16 points for the Scots as they thrashed Barbados 56-0 at Ibrox in the opening match of the evening session.
