Two second-half tries helped Northampton Saints to a 23-9 win over Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership this evening.
The sides were level at half time after Stephen Myler and Nick Evans each kicked two penalties in the first half.
George North put the hosts ahead early in the second half, breaking off a tackle from Charlie Walker before crossing the line.
The visitors fought hard to keep themselves in the game, but Saints were able to seal the points inside the final 10 minutes when Paul Doran-Jones was sin-binned allowing Dylan Hartley to find space to add the match-winning try.
Quins had a chance to add a consolation late on when George Pisi was sent to the sin bin, but were unable to take advantage before the end of the match.
The result moves Northampton top in the table.
