Italy skipper Sergio Parisse is expected to miss their Six Nations clash against Wales at the weekend due to suspension.
The 29-year-old, who was their star performer in their win over France on the opening weekend, was dismissed on Saturday while playing for club side Stade Francais.
It is understood that Parisse insulted the match referee during the Top 14 clash, with a six-week suspension in the offing should he be found guilty of the offence.
With any suspension including international competition, the number eight could miss all three of Italy's remaining Six Nations matches.
