Ulster fly-half Paddy Jackson will reportedly be given the nod to start Ireland's Six Nations clash against Scotland on Sunday.
It had been suggested that Ronan O'Gara would return to the side at the expense of Jonthan Sexton, but according to BBC Sport, Jackson will be given his first international cap.
Leinster's Ian Madigan is also pushing for a spot in the team, while Keith Earls is expected to be named on the wing rather than the injured Simon Zebo.
Meanwhile, Ireland defence coach Les kiss has called for "focus" ahead of the key encounter.
