Dominant second half gives Harlequins win

Harlequins overturn a half-time deficit to record their first win in four matches against Bath in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.

Harlequins have ended a run of three consecutive defeats with a 23-9 win over Bath at the Twickenham Stoop this afternoon.

The visitors took an early lead, with Stephen Donald and Ollie Devoto each adding a penalty before two kicks from Ben Botica leveled, with Donald edging Bath back in front just before half time.

The home side took the lead shortly after the restart, as Danny Care scored the opening try of the match.

After a quiet spell from both sides, Ugo Monye added a second try for Quins, giving the hosts a 14-point advantage heading into the final 15 minutes.

Bath had few opportunities to reduce Harlequins' lead late on, failing to add to their score in the second half.

The win leaves Harlequins third in the Aviva Premiership table, while Bath remain sixth.
