England full-back Mike Brown ruled out of Ireland clash

England full-back Mike Brown is to miss his side's Six Nations clash with Ireland in Dublin due to concussion.

England full-back Mike Brown has been ruled out of Sunday's crucial Six Nations clash with Ireland due to concussion.

Brown was doubtful for the game in Dublin after suffering a serious head injury during England's 47-17 win over Italy on February 14.

The England medical team had been helping the 29-year-old through concussion protocol before announcing on Wednesday that he had not recovered in time for the weekend.

England and Ireland are the only teams left in this year's Six Nations that have won both of their opening two games.
