England have played out a 25-25 draw with New Zealand courtesy of a rousing late comeback at Twickenham this evening.
Eddie Jones's side trailed by 19 points heading into the final eight minutes of the contest, but launched a stunning fightback in the closing stages to salvage a draw.
Will Stuart's first two international tries either side of a Freddie Steward score saw England blitz the All Blacks late on, with Marcus Smith knocking over the conversion to level things up in the final minute of normal time.
There was still time for the restart and New Zealand went short in an attempt to regain possession, but England claimed the ball and Smith then controversially kicked it out to settle for the draw rather than going for the win while their opponents had a man in the sin bin.
It was a decision that drew boos from the Twickenham crowd, who had already been frustrated by an underpar and ill-disciplined England display until the fightback.
New Zealand got off to a blistering start with Dalton Papali'i and Codie Taylor crossing inside the opening 10 minutes, the former through an interception try.
The All Blacks also saw a try disallowed during the early stages, and when Rieko Ioane raced clear to score in the corner after 50 minutes it looked to be a match-clinching moment.
However, the hosts then produced their incredible comeback, which was started and finished by Stuart as he became the first England prop to score two tries in an international Test match.
The result means that New Zealand have failed a win a game they were leading by 14 points at half time for the first time in their history.
England may feel that they should have won the game too, having failed to make the most of numerous trips to the New Zealand 22 courtesy of costly mix of ill-discipline and unforced errors.
The match, which also saw Owen Farrell and Brodie Retallick earn their 100th caps for their respective countries, brings an end to the All Blacks' tour of the Northern Hemisphere, while England will now turn their attentions to facing world champions South Africa next week.
