Leeds Rhinos confirm that half-back Danny McGuire broke his leg in yesterday's defeat at Hull FC.

Leeds Rhinos have confirmed that half-back Danny McGuire suffered a broken leg in last night's defeat at Hull FC.

The Super League champions suffered a fourth successive loss at the KC Stadium last night, with the injuries of McGuire and centre Kallum Watkins adding to their woes.

Watkins suffered an ankle injury which has yet to have a timescale put on it, while McGuire suffered his break when Liam Watts fell on him during a tackle.

"X-rays have confirmed Danny McGuire has suffered a break to his fibula bone in his leg, he will have further scans on Monday," the Rhinos said on their Twitter this morning.

Leeds have plenty of injury problems at the moment, with veteran prop Jamie Peacock, utility man Carl Ablett and back Ben Jones-Bishop already sidelined.
