Chelsea are reportedly closing in on the signing of Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino.
Despite having to ensure that they meet the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules on June 30, the Blues are seemingly relentless in their pursuit of new additions.
Tosin Adarabioyo has already signed on a free transfer, while the big-money addition of Palmeiras teenager Estevao Willian has been finalised for a 2025 move.
Aston Villa youngster Omari Kellyman is said to be on the brink of completing a shock switch to Stamford Bridge, with Ian Maatsen moving in the opposite direction.
Barcelona forward Marc Guiu should also be linking up with the West Londoners in due course, as well as an experienced forward also being targeted by Chelsea.
However, it appears that co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are doing everything possible to push through the signing of another South American wonderkid.

Anselmino close to Chelsea transfer
According to Ole, all the major details are in place for Chelsea to get a deal over the line for Anselmino as soon as possible.
The report suggests that Boehly and Clearlake are prepared to pay $18m (£14.2m) to sign Anselmino, $2m (£1.6m) less than his release clause.
As such, there are only 'small details' to resolve before Anselmino officially becomes a Chelsea player, with Manchester United seemingly missing out.

Where would Anselmino play his football next season?
Chelsea allegedly want to bring Anselmino straight into the club, with the assumption being that a loan to Strasbourg remains a strong possibility.
Nevertheless, it is stated that Boca Juniors are interested in retaining the 19-year-old on loan until June 2025.
Anselmino currently only has 10 first-team appearances to his name, three of which in the Argentine top flight and two in the Copa Sudamericana.
The player has recently been sidelined through injury, preventing him from kicking on with his development.
