Bradford Bulls are granted a new Super League licence for 2014, the Rugby Football League confirm.

The Rugby Football League have announced that Bradford Bulls have been handed a new Super League licence for 2014.

The financially-challenged outfit were only granted a 12-month provisional licence when they were brought out of administration by businessman Omar Khan and Bradford MP Gerry Sutcliffe in September.

"In recent weeks we have provided the RFL with historical financial accounts and cash-flow forecasts for next year," Sutcliffe told the club's official website. "The RFL were happy with those and with the way we've operated as a club, so we now have the confidence to move forward until the end of 2014 at least.

"The certainty of Super League reinforces the view that this wasn't just about saving the club, it was about the regeneration of Bradford, and kills off all the doubt."

Bradford, who are debt free, are now on a par with the licences belonging to the other 13 Super League clubs.
