Diego Poyet has suggested that there are no issues between himself and Andy Carroll, despite the midfielder previously criticising the striker on Twitter.
Three years ago, the midfielder, who is the son of Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, wrote on the social networking website: "I went to subway and asked for the greasiest, biggest and most expensive sub they had. They gave me Andy Carrol."
The players are now teammates at West Ham United and appear to be taking the Twitter feud lightly after Poyet posted a picture of himself in a headlock with Carroll, alongside the message: "Feel stupid for the tweets I made when I was 16, the big mans going to kill me!! Sorry @AndyTCarroll"
The former Liverpool forward responded by tweeting: "A big thanks to @diegopoyet7 for agreeing to make my morning cuppa every morning for the next month!! ☕️💪"
