Snowy Bristol return for Team GB medallist Jenny Jones?

The mayor of Bristol suggests covering areas of the city in snow to celebrate the return of Great Britain Olympic bronze medallist Jenny Jones.

The mayor of Bristol has suggested throwing a special homecoming event for Great Britain's Olympic bronze medallist Jenny Jones.

George Ferguson has discussed the idea of covering a hill or the city centre's Park Street in snow using a snow machine to celebrate 33-year-old Jones's success.

"We have got to do something really good to celebrate this," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"It will be better than doing an open bus tour, although I'm sure we can do that."

The Team GB snowboarder secured Britain's first ever Olympic medal on snow by scoring 87.25 in today's slopestyle final at the Rosa Khutor alpine resort in Sochi.
