Team GB athlete Tom Bosworth has proposed to his boyfriend in Rio de Janeiro hours after competing in the Olympic Games.
The 26-year-old got engaged to Harry Dineley on Copacabana Beach the day after he finished a respectable sixth place in the men's 20km race walk.

Bosworth's GB teammates, including Greg Rutherford and Dina Asher-Smith, were quick to take to social media to congratulate the pair on their engagement.

Bosworth is the third athlete to get engaged during the Games after Brazilian women's rugby sevens star Isadora Cerullo accepted a proposal from her girlfriend and Chinese diver Qin Kai asked his girlfriend and teammate He Zi to marry him moments after she won silver in the women's 3m springboard event.
