Great Britain's Tom Bosworth satisfied with performance in Beijing

Great Britain's Tom Bosworth admits that he was pleased with his display in the men's 20km walk at the World Athletics Championships despite the tough conditions.

Great Britain's Tom Bosworth has admitted that he was affected by the conditions in Beijing in the men's 20km walk at the World Athletics Championships.

The 25-year-old finished in 25th place in a time of 1:23.58 on his debut at the Championships, and although he conceded that he was bothered by the heat, Bosworth was satisfied with his display.


Spain's Miguel Angel Lopez won the event to claim the gold medal.
