'X Factor' star to play in Swansea charity match
The X Factor star Jake Quickenden signs up to play in this year's Swansea City charity match hosted at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City have confirmed that The X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden will play in this year's celebrity charity football match at the Liberty Stadium.

The 26-year-old, who also finished runner-up in last year's series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, will help raise money for SwansAid by playing in the Sellebrity match.

Quickenden, who has played semi-professional football for Frickley Athletic and Bottesford Town, will be joined by former Olympic sprinter Jamie Baulch.

In last year's event, EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt guided his team to narrow glory over their opponents, who were led by Danny Dyer.

The match is scheduled for May 31.
