Sunderland owner Ellis Short has revealed that he will fine Adam Johnson for nominating him to take part in the ice bucket craze.
The American businessman accepted the challenge, but stated that the money from Johnson's fine will be given to The ALS Association.
It remains to be seen whether Short was joking or not about the fine, but the Black Cats owner decided to target the club's North-East rivals Newcastle United in his nominations.
Short picked Magpies owner Mike Ashley, team manager Alan Pardew and player Jack Colback, who recently left the Stadium of Light to join their bitter rivals.
When Colback made the move this summer, Sunderland revealed that it had left a "bitter taste".
