Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor reportedly fell out with former manager Andre Villas-Boas because of a beanie hat.

A row between Emmanuel Adebayor and Andre Villas-Boas was reportedly caused by a beanie hat.

The Daily Mail reports that the Tottenham Hotspur striker fell out with the former manager after refusing to take off a hat during a team meeting.

The Portuguese manager allegedly refused to play the Togo international again after the argument.

Following Villas-Boas's sacking, Adebayor has scored four goals in five appearances.
