Bale: 'FIFA 14 cover a dream come true'
Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is chosen by EA Sports as the cover star of FIFA 14 and describes the achievement as a "dream come true".

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has described being chosen to join Lionel Messi on the front cover of FIFA 14 as a "dream come true".

Bale was confirmed as the latest cover star of the popular video game by EA Sports yesterday, appearing with Barcelona forward Messi on the UK and Irish edition.

"To be on the front cover is a massive honour," the 23-year-old told reporters.

"When you look at the calibre of players that have been on there in the past they are legends of the game, so for me to be here now is a dream come true."

FIFA 14 will hit the shelves on September 27 in the UK, with players from across Europe to be confirmed as cover stars in the next few weeks.
