Sampdoria 'ban Antonio Cassano from speaking to journalists'

Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano is reportedly banned from speaking to journalists.

Sampdoria have reportedly ordered Antonio Cassano not to speak to journalists.

The 34-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Serie A club, so much so that the club have removed him from their official website.

La Samp failed to offload Cassano during the summer transfer window, and according to Il Secolo XIX, Sampdoria have now informed the player that he will be fined if he speaks to the media.

The forward, who joined the club from Parma last year, is believed to be waiting to learn whether or not he can return to training with the team.
