World champion Sebastian Vettel has admitted that, away from his Formula 1 duties, he drives a van.

The 25-year-old has revealed that he stays away from fancy vehicles for taking on his daily routine when he's not on the track.

"The car that I really like to use, I am not sure how much I can say, but I have a Volkswagen bus," the Daily Mail quotes Vettel as saying.

"Like a people-carrier. Not an old one but it is so easy to put all my shit in the back, like my bike. You can take the seats out. I bought it second-hand in 2007 for £25,000."

In contrast, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton owns a red £20m private jet.
