Real Sociedad's David Moyes: 'Other managers won't join me for a beer'

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes reveals that he is struggling to convince any of his fellow managers to have a beer with him after a game.

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes has revealed that fellow coaches in La Liga are turning down his invitations for a beer at the end of matches.

In the Premier League, where Moyes worked for 12 years, it is common for managers to meet after a game and have a casual discussion, but the Scotsman has revealed that it is not a regular practice in Spain.

"I've asked a few managers, like we do in the Premier League, to go for a glass of wine or a beer after a game," Moyes told BBC Radio 5 live.

"Back in the Premier League, the managers spend 20 minutes having a chat, and it's not always football. But at the moment I'm not getting much joy. There's nobody coming into my little room to join me."

Moyes was appointed Sociedad boss last November, seven months after he was sacked by Manchester United.
