Lionel Messi's brother Matias pokes fun at Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the Ballon d'Or announcement later this year.

The brother of Barcelona star Lionel Messi has made fun of Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the Ballon d'Or announcement.

Both players are part of the shortlist, which also includes Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery, to be named the best footballer in the world.

Matias Messi has given his backing to his younger brother by posting a photo on Twitter of what the pair have won in their careers.

Along with the picture, Mathias wrote: "I leave you a little photo. I hope you like it. I love it personally."
