Italian club Pro Patria have been involved in another racism controversy as one of their players allegedly abused an opponent.
The game between the club's youth team, Pro Patria Berretti, and Casale was stopped after the home side's Fabiano Riberio was allegedly received a racist insult by a visiting player.
The incident occurred in the 38th minute, prompting Riberio to react angrily and punch his opponent; he was subsequently sent off.
Casale officials decided to call off the game and reported the incident to Lega Pro, which governs the third and the fourth divisions in Italy.
Lega Pro has asked the Italian football federation to look into the issue, with Patria denying the accusations.
This is the second time in a month that Patria has been involved in a racism scandal after a section of their fans abused AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince-Boateng during a friendly game in Busto Arsizio on January 3.
