Lee Johnson jokingly threatens to keep granddaughter away from parents

Lee Johnson jokingly threatens to keep his daughter away from his mother if she fails to back him over his father when Oldham take on Yeovil tomorrow.

Oldham Athletic manager Lee Johnson has jokingly insisted that he has a threat that will ensure that his mother supports him over his father Gary Johnson, who is in charge of Yeovil Town.

Johnson will go head-to-head with his father for the first time since he was appointed at Boundary Park in March when Oldham go up against Yeovil in a League One clash tomorrow evening.

"[My mum] better be [supporting me] otherwise she won't be seeing her granddaughter anymore," Johnson told Sky Sports News. "So that's the thing I've got on them both, and I'll use it, trust me."

The 31-year-old became the youngest manager to be appointed in the Football League.
