Norwich City striker Dieumerci Mbokani at Brussels Airport during attacks

Norwich City say that on-loan striker Dieumerci Mbokani is "unharmed but shaken" after being present at Brussels Airport during Tuesday's suspected terror attacks.

Norwich City have confirmed that striker Dieumerci Mbokani is "unharmed but shaken" after being present at Brussels Airport during today's suspected terror attacks.

The latest reports say that up to 28 people in total have died and many more suffered serious injuries after two blasts at Zaventem airport and another at Maelbeek metro station early this morning.

In a statement about Mbokani, Premier League side Norwich said: "The on-loan Dynamo Kiev striker was unharmed but shaken by the tragic events at the airport, in which a number of people were killed or injured.

"The club is in constant dialogue with Dieumerci, who has now returned home to be with his family.

"The thoughts of everyone at Norwich City are with the victims of the atrocities in Belgium today and their relatives."

The Belgian national team cancelled today's planned training session because of the attacks.
