Michael Vaughan believes that former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff would win Strictly Come Dancing following his boxing debut.

Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan believes that ex-teammate Andrew Flintoff would win BBC One reality show Strictly Come Dancing.

The 34-year-old retired cricketer made his boxing debut at the weekend against American Richard Dawson and managed to clinch the victory by a single point.

Following his change in career, Vaughan believes that Flintoff would be good enough for the ballroom dancing show.

"I tell you what, if he did Strictly he'd win it," Vaughan told The Sun. "He's a brilliant mover. He's been a gymnast since he was a kid. He knows all the tricks. He'd win for sure."

Vaughan was voted off the reality programme at the weekend.
