Sky Sports announce Indian Premier League coverage for next year

Sky Sports announce that they will broadcast coverage of next year's Indian Premier League for the first time.

Sky Sports have announced that they will show action from the Indian Premier League for the first time next year.

The broadcasters have revealed that they have secured a deal from 2015 for at least the next three years to show 60 live matches from the tournament.

Managing director of Sky Sports Barney Francis said: "It's the cricket competition that everyone is talking about and from next year, only on Sky Sports can viewers follow the IPL live.

"Sky Sports' cricket coverage has never been stronger, offering something for everyone including all the major Test playing nations and all the best players. We can't wait."

Along with the IPL, Sky Sports will be showing the ECB's NatWest T20 Blast, South Africa's Ram Slam T20 Challenge and Australia's Big Bash League next year.
