Sky to show Premier League reruns three hours after live game

Sky Sports will show all Premier League games that aren't broadcast live three hours after the final whistle from next season.

Sky Sports have agreed a new deal to allow viewers to watch reruns of Premier League games three hours after the final whistle has blown.

The new feature, which will show all games from the top flight that are not broadcast live on the day, is due to come into action for the 2013-14 campaign.

"This is fantastic news for Sky Sports viewers who will continue to enjoy unrivalled coverage of the Barclays Premier League on TV and wherever they are with Sky Go," said Sky Sports MD Barney Francis.

"We'll give fans the first chance to see extended highlights of all the matches every Saturday, as well as the key moments throughout the week. Add these rights to our 116 live matches from next season, which include MNF and Super Sunday double-headers, and Sky Sports truly remains the home of the Barclays Premier League."

Viewers will be able to watch reruns from 8pm that evening.
