A biopic about Paralympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius involving the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp is reportedly being considered.
The 26-year-old is currently on bail for the premeditated murder of his model other half, who was shot four times through a bathroom door at the home of the double amputee in Pretoria on Valentine's Day.
Reports have claimed that Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling is being tipped to play Pistorius, while South African-born Charlize Theron is believed to have been eyed for the role as Steenkamp.
"You've got one of the world's most famous sportsmen under arrest and a beautiful young woman who meets a violent death," a source told the Daily Mail. "Scripts began doing the rounds within days of the scandal breaking."
Pistorius has maintained that he shot Steenkamp thinking that she was an intruder.
