Oscar Pistorius - What Really Happened? documentary attracts viewing figures of 1.08m.

The TV documentary focusing on Oscar Pistorius's alleged murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp raked in the viewers on Monday night.

The BBC Three programme, which is the first documentary made about the Paralympic champion since he was arrested on Valentine's Day, attempted to piece together the events that led to the shooting of the 29-year-old model.

Oscar Pistorius - What Really Happened? beat Channel 5 in viewing figures by pulling in 1.08m, representing a 4.3% share of the audience between 9pm and 10pm on Monday, according to The Guardian.

The double amputee shot Steenkamp dead at his home in Pretoria, South Africa by firing four times through a bathroom door.
