One Direction singers Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne try out FIFA 14 while on a trip to Vancouver.

One Direction singers Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have tested out the new FIFA 14 game ahead of the highly-anticipated release date.

The duo, who are part of the five-piece British boyband, were invited to try out the game for themselves at the FIFA studios in Vancouver.

Following their visit, Louis said: "I can't wait for FIFA 14 to come out. It looks so much better on the next gen consoles, it was like watching a live football match on TV."

Liam added: "The new graphics on FIFA 14 are amazing. The new shooting feels so good, it's so much more realistic. It's going to be tough to go back to FIFA 13 after playing FIFA 14 on Ignite."

The new edition is expected to be released on September 24.
